Where to find potential clients for your business?

You want to start building your business. The first clients may be friends, relatives or clients that you had while working for another business. To grow your business you need to expand your circle and gain new customers.  One way to do this is to join a networking or volunteer organization. Your community may have a chamber of commerce, Rotary or other networking organization. Joining and participating is one way to get businesses in the community to know about you and the services you provide.  Conducting a survey or poll that offers marketing information and then publicize the results through press releases and websites. Another way to is to teach classes in a local community education program. Both ways will build recognition and hopefully demand for your services. Create a business profile. Put together an informative blog or write an article about the type of products your business offers. You can put together a few promotional pieces to post to the local media
